Presents a one-day seminar on
Embedding the Internet
The rapid invasion the Internet technology into everyday life has created the need for a method to incorporate Internet accessibility into a broad scope of products. A few of these applications are already surfacing, and clearly there will be more successful applications of the technology. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of hype in the popular press regarding this subject which can be very misleading. The so-called "Internet Appliance" is being hailed as the solution to networking a great many products, but most of the proposed applications will probably never be very successful. On the other hand, relatively few organizations and individuals have the knowledge and resources to apply the obtuse protocols and standards required for the job. This practical one-day seminar provides an overview of the technology, as well as a realistic view of the potential opportunities it holds in store.
An Example: The World's Smallest Web Server!
